In the wake of the recent devastating train accident in Odisha, Praja Santhi Party Chief, KA Paul, has publicly shared his deep distress. Terming the calamity as "extremely unfortunate", he expressed his sorrow over the immense loss of lives, which has plunged the nation into mourning. In a surprising turn, Paul placed the onus of the tragedy on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He argued that given the Prime Minister's extensive control over various portfolios, he must shoulder the responsibility for this catastrophe and consequently, step down from his post. He further pointed out the apparent anonymity of the Railway Minister, strengthening his claim about Modi's unilateral control. Paul stressed that all officials who were responsible for the incident should be relieved of their duties immediately.
