The attack occurred at the Reliance petrol station in Proddutur, where two youths threw eggs and stones at Lokesh, leading to a shocking turn of events. TDP workers, enraged by the actions of the youths, pursued and detained them. The police intervened, resulting in a tense situation. The detained individuals were taken to the police station, while the police presence has been strengthened to prevent any further incidents. The two youths claim that they were present to witness Lokesh's padayatra and deny involvement in the egg attack.
