Tamil Nadu's Chief Minister, M K Stalin, opted for a 500-km bullet train journey to Tokyo, the country's capital. He voiced his conviction that this type of service could bring advantages to the people of India as well. During his trip, Chief Minister Stalin also addressed the Tamil community residing in Japan, emphasizing the connection between the Tamil and Japanese languages. Sharing his experience on the train journey, he tweeted, "Enroute from Osaka to Tokyo on the #BulletTrain, covering a distance of approximately 500 km in under two and a half hours," along with some accompanying photos. He further added, "India should have a railway service similar to the #BulletTrain, not only in terms of design but also in speed and quality. It should benefit the underprivileged and middle-class citizens, making their journeys easier. #FutureIndia."
