Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Sunday to address various matters concerning the state. The meeting, which took place at Amit Shah's residence, lasted for more than 40 minutes, focusing on state-related issues. During the discussion, the Chief Minister emphasized the importance of endorsing the revised estimates of the Polavaram project and securing approval from the Union Cabinet. He urged the Union Home Minister to expedite the resolution of pending issues between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, which arose during the bifurcation process. Furthermore, CM Jagan raised concerns regarding the division of assets, including Andhra Pradesh Bhavan, in accordance with Schedule 9 and 10 of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganization Act. He also highlighted the issue of outstanding electricity dues owed by the Telangana government and urged for appropriate measures to clear the pending payments.
