Joined by Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, the leaders participated in a puja to mark the auspicious occasion of the new building's inauguration. Carrying the revered 'Sengol,' Prime Minister Modi, accompanied by Adheerams from various Mutts in Tamil Nadu, proceeded towards the new Parliament House. Speaker Birla accompanied the Prime Minister on this significant journey. Upon reaching the new building, Prime Minister Modi, together with Speaker Birla, performed the ceremonial installation of the 'Sengol' in the heart of the new Parliament House.
