Hyderabad: Y.S. Sharmila, the leader of YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP), has landed in legal trouble as Hyderabad police have registered a case against her for making critical remarks against Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao in the TSPSC paper leak case. The case was filed at Banjara Hills police station based on a complaint by Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader Narendra Yadav. He alleged that Sharmila, during a press conference and on social media, accused the Chief Minister and BRS of being responsible for the question paper leaks in TSPSC exams. Sharmila has been charged under sections 505(2) and 504 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for promoting enmity and intentionally insulting with the intent to provoke a breach of peace. Narendra Yadav's complaint highlighted Sharmila's derogatory term "Bandicoot Rashtra Samithi" used to refer to BRS.
