Hyderabad: A video claiming the presence of a leopard near Jeedimetla police station in Medchal district has gone viral, sparking panic among the residents of Apurupa colony. The moments of leopard were captured in the CCTV cameras installed in the area. The footage, widely shared in local WhatsApp groups, depicted a leopard wandering the colony during the midnight hours. Concerned about potential attacks, the locals were apprehensive about venturing out at night. Forest officials swiftly responded by visiting the colony and analyzing the CCTV footage. The officials asked the people not to step out of their houses in night.
