Hyderabad: On Tuesday, supporters of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) headed to army installations in various parts of Pakistan as the law and order situation continued to deteriorate after the arrest of former Prime Minister and PTI Chairman, Imran Khan. Videos surfaced on social media showing PTI activists raising slogans against the government and the Pakistan Army. The demonstrators were seen vandalizing army properties in Lahore, Karachi, and other cities. In some instances, they even broke into the residence of a military officer in Lahore's cantonment area. Despite police attempts to disperse the protesters with tear gas shells, the law enforcers had to retreat. Following Khan's arrest, PTI called for peaceful protests across Pakistan, leading to the closure of roads on the main thoroughfares in major cities, including Karachi.
