Hyderabad: An altercation between PCC chief Revanth Reddy's driver and the police near Saroor Nagar Stadium in Hyderabad has sparked controversy. According to reports, the police allegedly attacked the driver of Revanth Reddy when he opened the car door, attempting to pull him out. The driver alleged that the police abused him and claimed that the police attacked him unprovoked. It is learnt that Revanth Reddy was not in the car when the incident took place. Congress workers who were present tried to intervene but were also assaulted by the police. The incident has drawn criticism from opposition parties, with many calling for an investigation into police behaviour.
