During the Yuva Sangharsh Sabha held in Hyderabad's Saroornagar, the Congress Party launched a youth declaration outlining its promises towards the youth and unemployed in Telangana for the upcoming elections. The declaration, which has five key promises, was launched by AICC General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and announced by TPCC President Revanth Reddy. One of the key promises includes recognition of young men and women who lost their lives in the first and second phases of the Telangana movement as martyrs, with a government job for one family member and Rs 10,000 each to the mother, father, or spouse. In addition, a monthly honorarium of Rs 25,000 will be provided to the martyrs, and the cases against youth involved in the movement will be dropped, with government identity cards given as Telangana activists on June 2.
