Prakasam: An earthquake was reported in the Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday morning. According to reports, the ground shook for approximately two seconds in Mundlamuru village of the district. Residents of the area were left in panic as they ran out of their houses following the tremors. Some locals reported hearing a loud noise prior to the earthquake. This incident has added to the growing concern over the frequent occurrence of earthquakes in the Telugu states. In March of this year, an earthquake hit Rathasa in the Tuggali mandal of Kurnool district, causing significant damage to many homes and roads. In February, several areas in the NTR and Palnadu districts of Andhra Pradesh experienced tremors.
