YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP) Chief YS Sharmila made a bold move on Tuesday as she sent a truck filled with damaged crops to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Sharmila reportedly collected the spoiled crop from Khammam, Mahbubabad and Jangaon districts and said that the truck represents the tears of the farmers and her aim was to "wake the CM up from his deep slumber." She demanded a compensation of Rs 30,000 per acre for the damages caused to farmers due to the recent rains, stating that KCR's promise of Rs 10,000 per acre was insufficient. However, the police intervened and prevented the truck carrying the damaged crops from reaching CM KCR's Pragathi Bhavan.
