West Godavari: A fire broke out in an APSRTC bus carrying 40 passengers in Sringavriksham, West Godavari district on Tuesday. According to sources, the bus was travelling from Bhimavaram to Palakolli when the incident occurred. Fortunately, all passengers on board narrowly escaped from a potential disaster after the alerted driver noticed the fire and quickly pulled over to the side of the road, allowing them to evacuate the bus safely. The fire was quickly extinguished, but the authorities are currently investigating the cause of the fire. Passengers expressed their gratitude to the driver for his quick action and credited him with averting a potentially major accident.
