The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has initiated an investigation into the murder of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy. CBI officials arrived in Pulivendula from Kadapa on Thursday to look into the case. They reached the residence of YS Viveka's personal assistant, Krishna Reddy, who is a suspect in the case. Upon learning of the CBI officials' arrival at his house, Krishna Reddy remained inside and locked the door. The officials waited outside for a while and eventually ordered him to open the door. After some time, the doors were opened and the CBI officials interrogated Krishna Reddy at his home. He has previously been arrested by the CBI and is currently out on bail. As the trial in the case is approaching its conclusion, the visit of the CBI officials to him once again holds significant importance.
