Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, the famous Bhagmati boat in Hussain Sagar faced an unprecedented ordeal when it went adrift in the thunderstorms, while approximately 40 passengers were onboard. According to the sources, the passengers were returning to the jetty when heavy thunderstorms caught the city off guard, resulting in a perilous situation. Sources said that the boat failed due to the rainstorms. However, the quick-thinking tourism department officials took timely action and towed the boat back to the Hyderabad Boat Club's jetty, averting a potentially dangerous mishap.
