As the investigation into the murder of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy reaches a crucial stage, CBI officials are focusing on the situation in Pulivendula in Kadapa district. The officials are investigating the security of Dastagiri, who has turned approver in the Viveka murder case. On Tuesday, CBI officials visited Dastagiri's residence in Pulivendula to enquire about his security details and instructed him to be careful and vigilant. They also suggested that they should be informed of any minor doubts. Meanwhile, the anticipatory bail plea of Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy, who is an accused in the Vivekananda Reddy murder case, had its hearing postponed to Wednesday. A bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice P S Narasimha set aside an interim order of the Telangana High Court on May 18th.
