YSR Telangana Party President YS Sharmila was released from Chanchalguda Jail on Tuesday evening after being granted conditional bail by the Nampally Court. She was arrested in connection with the attack on police the previous day. Speaking to the media at Chanchalguda Jail, Sharmila criticized the Government of Telangana, questioning the governance of KCR and alleging corruption by him, his son, and daughter. Sharmila also expressed her dissatisfaction with the treatment she received while in police custody. She claimed that male cops had tried to touch her, while a female police officer tried to break her hand. She also accused the police of selectively choosing videos that favoured them and making them viral. Sharmila defended her actions, stating that she had pushed male cops to protect herself from being attacked and suffocated.
