Former minister and senior YSRCP leader Balineni Srinivas Reddy has refuted allegations of having investments in the film industry. He firmly stated that neither he nor his brother-in-law Bhaskar Reddy had invested any money in the industry. Balineni Srinivas Reddy went on to say that he would be willing to surrender all his property if these allegations were proven true, and would retire from politics permanently. He urged individuals to stop spreading false information about him and his family. Furthermore, he challenged Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan to investigate the matter and ascertain whether he had any investments in the film industry. Jana Sena corporator Murthy Yadav, who is from Visakhapatnam, filed a complaint with the I-T department officials alleging that Balineni had investments in a leading construction company. Mr. Yadav also demanded an inquiry into the illegal transactions of a prominent company involving former minister Balineni Benami, his brother-in-law Bhaskara Reddy, and YSRCP leader and auditor Gannamaneni Vinkateswara Rao.
