Kazipet: The Railway Protection Force (RPF) and child welfare officials rescued 34 children who were being trafficked from Bihar at Kazipet Junction. According to the sources, the officials conducted searches in the Darbanga Express train running from Bihar to Secunderabad and rescued the minor children aged between 10 to 16 years. It is learnt that the gang of child trafficking were shifting them to Secunderabad to deploy various works. Child welfare official said that the gang members lure the children and their family members offering employment. He added that the team members later they will deploy in bangle making and other works. After receiving the information, the Telangana Police acted swiftly and were able to identify these children at Kazipet Junction. The rescued children were shifted to childcare centres for their safety. The police arrested four mediators.
