BRS MLC K Kavitha has denied any knowledge of jailed conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar, in response to alleged WhatsApp chats between the two. In a statement on Thursday, Kavitha stated, "I am not even familiar with Sukesh Chandrasekhar. I don't even know who he is." Chandrashekhar, who is currently imprisoned in Delhi's Mandoli Jail for allegedly extorting Rs 200 crore from a businessman's wife, had previously made public his purported WhatsApp chats with Kavitha and jailed AAP leader Satyendar Jain. The chats have stirred up controversy, but Kavitha has denied any involvement with Chandrashekhar and claimed to not even know who he is.
