Visakhapatnam: On Thursday, Union Minister of State for Steel, Faggan Singh Kulaste, stated that the Indian government is not currently pursuing the privatization of the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. During his visit to Visakhapatnam, the Minister emphasized that efforts are being made to enhance the capabilities of RINL and ensure the efficient operation of the Visakhapatnam steel plant. He added that he would engage in discussions with the plant's management and labor unions to address any concerns. Moreover, he stated that the TRS's attempt to bid as a mere theatrical drama. Earlier, Singareni delegations hold a meeting with VSP's officials over bid.
