His tribute caught the attention of Richard Carpenter, the surviving member of the group, who responded with a heartwarming video on his Instagram account. In the video, Richard and his daughters, Mindi and Tracy, can be seen performing a new version of "Top of the World" in tribute to Keeravaani's rendition. The video was captioned with a message of congratulations to Keeravaani and his co-writer Chandra Bose, saying, "Heartfelt congratulations on your win for Best Original Song. Here is a little something from our family to you and yours."
