Avinash Reddy, the Member of Parliament from Kadapa, has been questioned twice by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the murder of former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy. In response to the latest notice from the CBI asking him to appear on the 6th of this month, Avinash Reddy stated that he had prior commitments. CBI has again asked him to appear before them on 10th March. However, he has since approached the Telangana High Court, seeking a lawyer to conduct his trial and requesting that the CBI record audio and video of the trial process. He has also requested that the CBI not take any serious action and provide him with a copy of the statement they recorded. Avinash Reddy is scheduled to appear before the CBI in Hyderabad tomorrow, and the court's decision on his petition is awaited.
