The annual festival of Prabhala Theertham, an iconic event of Konaseema, was celebrated with grandeur in the village of Jaggannathota, located in the Ambajipeta region of the Konaseema district. On the third day of the Sankranti (Kanuma) festival, Prabhalu, made with bamboo arches and adorned with imagery of Lord Shiva and Goddess Durga Devi, were paraded from neighboring villages to the Gangalakurru Agraharam in Jaggannathota.
