A video shows how a woman who persisted on sitting next to Lord Venkateshwara's statue and claimed to be his wife was beaten, pulled by her hair, and hauled out of a Bengaluru temple. The woman reported the incident to Amruthahalli Police Station, and although it happened on December 21, it was only recently made public. In the footage, a man can be seen dragging a woman by her hair across a temple floor. She tries to stop him, but he rushes for her dupatta and pushes her out the temple door. The woman pushes back.
