Devotees of Ayyappa have started protests all throughout Telangana. At Shivaji Chowk in Kosgi, in the Narayanpet district, Swamis organised a dharna. On that occasion, a man by the name of Naresh was attacked. The swamis questioned the purpose of an atheist filming them. Police sprang into action and stabilised the situation. 'We don't have faith in God'. Bhairi Naresh has openly said controversial comments about Gods in the Ambedkar Sabha, He made disparaging remarks about the purana and the birth of Lord Ayyappa. Bhairi Naresh spoke at a rally in the Kodangal constituency two days ago. He made insulting comments about Lord Ayyappa. Leaders of Hindu organisations and followers of Lord Ayyappa attacked Naresh when the video became popular throughout Telangana.
