New Delhi: Panic gripped the people after three cases of BF.7 variant of Omicron were reported in India. It is said that the BF.7 variant of Omicron is the reason behind the surge in Covid-19 cases in China. According to the reports, two cases have been detected in Gujarat and another reported in Odisha. As per sources, a 61-year-old NRI woman in Vadodara tested positive for Covid-19 in November and her sample was sent for genome sequencing and it confirmed for the BF.7 variant. Another man from Ahmedabad also tested positive for BF.7 variant and he returned to India from abroad in September and tested positive for Covid-19 and his genome sequencing sample tested positive for BF.7 Variant.
