The Crime Branch of the Delhi Police has detained a woman and her son on suspicion of killing her husband and dismembering his body into 22 pieces. The body parts were allegedly kept in the refrigerator by the mother-son pair, who later dumped them in various locations. Although the event is said to have occurred in June, it was only recently made public when the police began looking into the alleged murder of Shraddha Walkar. Some of the CCTV footages exposed the suspicious activities of the woman-son. Further inquiry showed that victim Das had been absent for five to six months and that his family had not reported him missing.
