According to the state's chief minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, a food processing facility will be built in the Palnadu area. After officially opening the ITC Global Chilli Processing Unit at Vankayalapadu in Yadlapadu mandal of Palnadu district on Friday, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh made these remarks. He stated that 10 units will soon have their foundation stones placed at a cost of Rs. 1250 crore. The units will generate about 33,000 jobs if they are placed in 26 districts, he said. Reiterating that Andhra Pradesh has led the nation in the Ease of Doing Business (EoDB) for the past three years, he reassured business chairman Sanjeev Puri that the government will quickly address his company's difficulties and is only a phone call away.
