According to media reports, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) special court sentenced the three defendants in the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLAs poaching case to 14 days of judicial detention on Sunday. The Telangana High Court overturned a lower court's earlier decision to deny the remand of the three accused, K Nanda Kumar, Ramachandra Bharathi alias Satish Sharma, and D Simhayaji, on the grounds that they had not complied with the obligation to issue a notice before the arrest on October 27. According to the media, the government then appealed the lower court's ruling to the High Court.
