Britain's longest serving monarch, Queen Elizabeth II passed away at the age of 96 due to illness. She died at Balmoral Castle in Scotland where she spent the Summer. Buckingham Palace confirmed the news on Thursday. According to the reports, Prince Charles and British family members rushed to the Castle. Queen Elizabeth was crowned in 1953 and served for seven decades. Queen's eldest son, Charles succeeded as king at the age of 73.
