Among the Hindus, Lord Ganesha has a special significance. Every Hindu home has Vighneswara, the son of Parvathi, who serves as the remover of obstacles. Some people only worship one idol, while others give their everything to two or three images. A devotee from Karnataka, however, is quite different. He turned his home into a museum of Ganesh idols out of his love to the Hindu deity Lord Ganesh. In the past 21 years, he has accumulated more than 600 pictures and over a thousand idols of various sizes and shapes. He is none other than Ashok Bachavat, who hails from Ballari's Adarsh Nagar village.
