Ganesh Chaturthi, one of the greatest celebrations in Hyderabad, is now being prepared for the spiritual event. Tomorrow is the beginning of the famed Khairatabad Ganesh puja event, and a large number of devotees are expected to arrive to see Lord Ganesha. It is a ten-day celebration. The Khairatabad Ganesh Utsav Samithi's organisers have prepared all kinds of elaborate arrangements in consideration of the enormous crowds of devotees travelling to have a darshan after a two-year break caused by covid. This time, the 50-foot-tall clay idol will take the form of Shri Panchamukha Mahalakshmi Ganapati. On either side of Ganapati, Tri Shakti Mahagayatri and Shanmukha Subramanya Swamy shall appear. The Khairatabad idol was created out of clay for the first time in 60 years while taking the Supreme Court's ruling and the Telangana government's instructions into consideration.
