President Draupadi Murmu has been requested by "Dignity for Women" leaders to prosecute YSRCP MP Gorantla Madhav in the obscene video case. The leaders who met the President in Delhi expressed their displeasure about Madhav's attitude of women's self-esteem. They advocated for Madhav's expulsion from Parliament as well. In a subsequent interview with the media, TDP MLA Vangalapudi Anitha from Payakaraopet in Andhra Pradesh claimed that the state government had been shielding MP Madhav despite the controversy surrounding his video. She has also criticised the State Police, the Women's Commission, and the State Home Minister for letting the case drop. The TDP MLA Anitha has questioned, asking "why CM Jagan Mohan Reddy is not addressing on this matter."
