After Telugu Desam Party (TDP) women leaders went on a protest to meet the director general of police (DGP) to file a complaint over YSRCP MP Gorantla Madhav and his contentious video, there was unrest at the A.P. DGP office. The DGP's office has increased protection thanks to police. Among other female party leaders, the TDP's V Anitha, S Padmasree, and R Soujaya raised their voices and called for action against the YSRCP MP. Police have prevented them from protest. The leaders of the opposition demanded that the YSRCP MP be punished for his alleged involvement in a contentious video.
