Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy, who left the Congress party and his MLA post, has declared before the BJP's high command that he will join the party on August 21. In response to rumours that his elder brother Komatireddy Venkat Reddy is also switching parties, he stated that he will make the right choice. Rajagopal Reddy said, "I suggest my brother to make the right choice." Additionally, he stated that whatever actions they do, they are exclusively intended to address the concerns of individuals. He had criticised Telangana PCC Chief Revanth Reddy for making remarks against him while ignoring other senior members who had sacrificed their own lives for the Telangana people.
