Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, a YSRCP leader and adviser to the AP government, responded to the MP Gorantla Madhav video scandal that made headlines in Telugu states. If it is not found to be morphing, Sajjala stated unequivocally that party-wide action would be taken against Madhav. Ramakrishna Reddy stated in a media appearance that the YSR Congress party will not allow such behaviour since it supports and defends women's rights in all respects. According to Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, if the accused is found to have engaged in such heinous activity, which the investigation into the MP has demonstrated, stern action will be taken against him.
