New Delhi, June 1: The Supreme Court on Wednesday gave green signal for the construction of tourism buildings at Rushikonda Hills in Visakhapatnam. The National Green Tribunal (NGT) issued a stay on construction activity based on the letter submitted by YSRCP rebel MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju. The AP government approached the Supreme Court challenging the NGT order. The top court said that it is not correct for the NGT to give stay by considering MP’s letter and transferred all the proceedings from the NGT to the AP High Court. The apex court stated that the High Court is supreme over NGT.
