Hyderabad, May 20: Fans in large number gathered outside the residence of Tollywood actor Jr. NTR at Jubilee Hills here on Thursday night to convey birthday wishes to him. Jr. NTR’s birthday is on May 20. The actor was not present in the house when fans came to greet him. He went out along with his family members. Fans raised slogans of ‘Jai NTR’ at his residence. As a result, the cops received a complaint of nuisance. The police arrived and asked fans to leave but they did not heed to them. In order to chase them away, cops lathicharged. Tens of fans injured due to lathicharge and some were taken into police custody.
