Mancherial: In a heart-wrenching incident, a man was forced to leave his brother's dead body at a government hospital after ambulance drivers demanded Rs 80,000 to shift the dead body from Mancherial to his village in Uttar Pradesh. The incident took place at Mancherial government hospital. According to the sources, the deceased identified as Motisha, a native of Uttar Pradesh was admitted to the hospital due to sunstroke and died while undergoing the treatment. It is learnt that his brother approached private ambulances to shift the dead body to his native village in Uttar Pradesh but they demanded Rs 80,000. Later, he left the dead body at the hospital and went to Uttar Pradesh. Reacting to the incident, the hospital Superintendent said that there is no such facility in the hospital to shift the dead body to other states.
