Several videos of a sandstorm over several parts of the province Qinghai, situated in northwest China are doing rounds on the internet and shocking the netizens. In the video, one can catch a glimpse of a sandstorm stretching into the sky in the desert heading toward the motorists. The people were seen accelerating their vehicles fasters to escape from the sandstorm. People suffered due to the dust as the road was completely blocked. Officials cancelled the flights and issued yellow alerts in several places. It is said that 12 states in China witnessed sandstorms.
