Chema Dumpala 65


1.Boiled and peeled Chamadumpalu 1/4 kilo
2.Maida 1/4 cup
3.Corn flour 2 tbsp
4.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
5.Salt to taste
6.Red chilli powder
7.Turmeric powder a pinch
8.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
9.Green chillies 5
10.Curry leaves
11.Curd 1/2 cup
12.Food colour a pinch
13.Coriander leaves
14.Oil for deep frying


1.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying.
2.Take a bowl combine maida,corn flour,ginger garlic paste,salt,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder,mix well with water and prepare smooth batter.
3.Now add chamadumpalu to the batter and coat well,gently drop them in hot oil and deep fry till nice golden colour.
4.Heat some oil in a pan,add green chillies,curry leaves,curd,food colour and saute for a minute.
5.Finally add fried chamadumpalu to the pan and toss well.Transfer into a bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
