Bagara Paneer Capsicum


1.Capsicum 1/4 kilo
2.Paneer 100 grams
3.Onion chopped 1
4.Cumin seeds 1/2 tbsp
5.Mustard seeds 1/2 tbsp
6.Onion seeds 1/2 tbsp
7.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
8.Curry leaves
9.Salt to taste
10.Red chilli powder
11.Turmeric powder a pinch
12.Dry coconut powder 1/2 cup
13.Sesame seeds 3/4 cup
14.Peanuts 1/4 cup
15.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
16.Garam masala powder 1 tbsp
17.Oil 4 tbsp
18.Coriander leaves
19.Tamarind juice


1.Heat some oil in a pan,add capsicum and saute till light brown colour,cover and cook for few minutes till done.
2.Take another pan and heat some oil,add mustard,cumin seeds,onion seeds and saute for few seconds.
3.Add curry leaves,onions and saute,add salt,red chilli powder,turmeric powder and mix well.
4.Add tamarind juice and bring it to boil,add ground paste (dry roasted peanuts,sesame seeds,dry coconut) and mix well.
5.Cook for 2 minutes,add coriander powder,paneer,capsicum and give it a good mix.Add some water as required and cook for another few minutes.
6.Sprinkle some garam masala powder and transfer into a bowl,garnish with coriander leaves.Serve hot.
