1.Potatoes 250 grams boiled
2.Cumin seeds
3.Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
4.Coriander leaves 1
5.Coriander powder 1 tbsp
6.Fenugreek leaves 1 bunch
7.Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
8.Green chillies 2
9.Cumin powder 1/2 tbsp
10.Oil 2 tbsp
11.Onion 1
12.Salt to taste
13.Turmeric powder a pinch
14.Mustard seeds


1.Heat some oil in a pan,add cumin,mustard seeds and let it sizzle for few seconds.
2.Add onion chopped and saute till golden brown colour.
3.Add turmeric powder,ginger garlic paste and mix well,fry till raw smell goes off.
4.Add green chillies,curry leaves,fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi) and saute.
5.Add  dissolved coriander,cumin,chilli powder in water and mix well.
6.Add salt to taste,saute till oil oozes out from the mixture.Now add potatoes and mix well,coat well the masalas.
7.Cook for few minutes and finally sprinkle some coriander leaves.Serve hot.
