Masala Vada

Masala Vada


1.Besan flour
2.Channa dal
3.Cinnamon stick
4.Curry leaves
5.Green chillies
6.Cumin seeds
8.Onion chopped
9.Dried red chillies
10.Salt to taste


1.Take a blender jar add cinnamon,dried red chillies,cumin seeds,chana dal soaked and blend into a coarse paste.
2.Transfer the mixture into a bowl,add coriander leaves,curry leaves,green chillies,onions and mix well.
3.Now add besan flour to the mixture and mix well evenly by adding some salt.
4.Prepare dumplings with the mixture by wetting your palms,pat the dumplings gently and keep aside.
5.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying,drop the vadas in hot oil and deep fry till nice golden colour.Serve hot.
