Mirchi Ka Salan


1.Green chillies
2.Red chilli powder
3.Coconut powder
5.Cumin seeds
6.Cumin powder
7.Curry leaves
8.Fenugreek seeds
9.Ginger garlic paste
11.Mustard seeds
15.Red chilli powder
16.Salt to taste
17.Sesame seeds
18.Tamarind pulp
19.Turmeric powder


1.Heat some oil in a apna,add peanuts,sesame seeds saute till nice golden colour.
2.Add coconut powder and saute for another few seconds,add this mixture to blender and blend into a smooth paste.
3.Heat some more oil in the same pan,add whole garam masala,red chillies,mustard seeds,cumin seeds,fenugreek seeds and saute.
onions,salt and saute till golden brown colour,add pinch of
hing,turmeric powder and mix,add ginger garlic paste,curry leaves and
saute till raw smell goes off.
5.Add little waternow add dry masalas
red chilli powder,coriander powder,cumin powder and cook till mixture
releases oil around the pan.
6.Add curd,ground paste and mix well,cover and cook till oil oozes out.
7.Now add tamarind,jaggery and mix well,simmer the flame and cook for 15-20 minutes.
gravy comes to boil and green chillies and cook for another 10-15
minutes till all masalas are absorbed by the green chillies.Serve hot.
