2.Moong dal
4.Green chillies
5.Coriander leaves
7.Tempering seeds
8.Lemon juice
9.Turmeric powder
10.Salt to taste
11.Cumin seeds


1.Pressure cook aratikaya and cut down into small pieces,soak moong dal and keep aside.
2.Blend soaked moong dal with green chillies,ginger,cumin seeds,salt into a smooth paste.
3.Now steam cook moong dal mixture in idly cooker and keep aside.
4.Heat some oil in a pan add tempering seeds and saute till nice golden colour.
5.Add onions,green chillies and mix well,scramble moong dal idlis,aratikaya boiled and mix well.Add this mixture to the frying pan and mix well.Cover and cook for 2 min.
6.Dissolve salt in lemon juice and add to the mixture,mix well.Sprinkle some coriander leaves and serve hot.
