Kakarakaya Cutlet


1.Kakarakayalu deseeded and deep fried
2.Sesame seeds
3.Mustard seeds
4.Urad dal
7.Dried Red chillies
8.Cashew nuts
9.Salt to taste
10.Coriander leaves
11.Curry leaves
12.Tempering seeds


1.Dry roast sesame seeds for few minutes and keep aside.
2.Heat some oil in a pan,add peanuts,urad dal,dried red chillies and saute for few minutes.
3.Now blend the fried ingredients,salt,tamarind into a blender and blend well.Transfer into a bowl.
4.Now stuff this paste into fried kakarakayalu and keep aside.
5.Heat some oil in a pan,add tempering seeds,red chillies,curry leaves and saute for few seconds.
6.Finally add stuffed kakarakayalu and mix gently,cover and cook till done,serve hot with fried cashews.Serve hot.
