4.Chana dal
5.Urad dal
6.Mustard seeds
7.Cumin seeds
8.Coconut grated
9.Salt to taste
10.Turmeric powder
11.Red chilli powder
12.Curry leaves


1.Pressure cook chikkudukayaly for 10 min till they are tender.
2.Heat some oil in a pan,add chana dal,urad dal,mustard seeds,cumin seeds,curry leaves and saute for a minute.
3.Add boiled chikkdukayalu to the pan and mix well,add salt,turmeric powder,red chilli powder,coconut powder,jaggery,tamarind pulp and mix well all the ingredients.
4.Cook on slow flame for few minutes till done,transfer into a bowl and serve hot.
