1.Moong dal
2.Fenugreek leaves
3.Curry leaves
5.Tempering seeds
6.Ginger garlic paste
8.Green chillies
9.Red chilli powder
10.Turmeric powder
11.Salt to taste
12.Garam masala powder
13.Coriander powder


1.Heat some oil in a pan,add tempering seeds,onions,green chillies and saute till light brown colour.
2.Add ginger garlic paste and saute,add pinch of turmeric,red chilli powder,salt and mix well.
3.Add fenugreek leaves and saute for few minutes till leaves are tender.
4.Add soaked moong dal and saute,cover and cook for 2 min.
5.Now add fried curry leaves powder to the pan and mix well.Sprinkle some garam masala powder,coriander powder and mix well.Cover and cook for a minute.
6.Prepare dough mixture with maida by adding salt,oil.Prepare small dough balls and roll them into puris.
7.Now stuff the mixture in puris and close the edges,pin 1 clove on top and keep aside.
8.Heat sufficient oil for deep frying,add kachodelu to the pand fry till nice golden colour,repeat same process with others.Serve hot.
